Just a Daydream is a great book for students to read if there is a lot of bullying going on in the classroom. Critter keeps getting bullied by another kid. This bully takes his candy, pushes him down, and takes his ball. Critter imagines himself as Super Critter. Super Critter has a cape. He would be able to fly high and help out the critters of Critterville. He scares away aliens and trains a dinosaur. Super Critter even builds a castle. At the end of the story Critter realizes he is not Super Critter like he has imagined. As soon as he realizes he is not Super Critter the bully comes to give Critter his candy back. The bully said that a masked critter with a cape told him to be nice. After that the bully and Critter played together as friends. ( )
