I’m still waiting on Vander’s story, but I have no complaints with Easton. This Norcross brother is the billionaire entrepreneur. But he’s also a tough guy. He wasn’t part of the black ops team with Vander, Saxon, and Rhys, but he spent his own time in the military. Easton falls for his temporary admin assistant Harlow. She’s the first woman to not cower before him or throw herself at him. He’s instantly annoyed. And smitten. But it’s not until her dad drags her into his troubles that Easton gets to step in and play rescuer. Like the other books, he has to protect her. And in the process the two fall in love. In a way, I really thought these two had the best bond of all the couples since they worked together. But like the other books, you get action, danger, and lots of hot romance. The books have a formula. But it’s working. I’m enjoying the series. Still waiting for Vander, though ... ( )

I WANT WOLF!! OMG does this book grab your heart and make you root for Laine when she got horrible death threats and her long time friend, Nola is worried and calls her brother who is an ex-SEAL and son and son of a ex-con. I loved that Lainie grew up to become a CEO of a website that she built from the ground up and had a crush on Nick for decades without Nick's knowledge. I loved that Nick made something of himself and didn't follow in him dad's shoes and he liked his little sister's best friend, but he needed to stay away from her as he didn't feel worthy of her. Wolf kept me hopping as there were numerous attempts to kill Lainie! ( )
