This is a brilliantly laid-out and well-chronicled book about the Black Panther Party, and about the black racial and social Justice movement. I happened to receive it when my son was learning about this period of US history in middle school, and it confirmed my recommendation of this textbook; it should be in all school libraries and classrooms.
