In the second book about this zany alligator, Zack brings her to show-and-tell. At first Bridget is the size of a key chain, but when she accidentally falls into the aquarium, she grows and grows and grows - and then she's off! Whirling, skating, dancing, and singing, Bridget turns the classroom upside down. Zack's Alligator Goes to School is a great sequal to Zack's Alligator. Zack's Alligator Goes to School is also great to read if you are wanting to do a lesson that is associated with Zack's Alligator. They are good to read together for compare and contrast activities and they are easy reads for children. Children will get excited from the humor and colorful illustrations. Highly recommended! Fantasy Fiction Age Appropriateness: Primary Review/Critique: Zack brought a small alligator to school for show and tell. After being teased, Zack's alligator accidently got put in water, and once it did, the alligator grew and grew. The alligator, Bridget, came to life and made all sorts of scenes at school. Slowly Bridget shrunk as she wasn't in water, and by the time the principle came into the classroom, Bridget had shrunk all of the way. This is good fantasy fiction because an alligator wouldn't go in water and grow, nor would a boy bring an alligator for show and tell. It's show and tell day at school so all the kids bring in something special to them to show off. Zach brings his alligator key chain, but this isn't an ordinary key chain. When they key chain falls into the water, it grows... into a real, live, TALKING alligator. The alligator makes a huge mess in the classroom because she doesn't get to go to school. The teacher, Ms. Pickles, runs to the principal's office, but before the principal can get there, the alligator shrinks back into the key chain. This was a very funny story. I loved it, so I know the kids will. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
Bridget, an alligator keychain that grows into a full-sized creature when dunked in water, creates chaotic fun when Zack takes her to school for Show and Tell. Sequel to "Zack's Alligator." Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
