Ce nouveau volume des aventures de Bean termine en quelque sorte le cycle, ou tout au moins termine ce cycle sur Terre. L'auteur met en place l'unification des peuples sur Terre sous l'égide de Peter Wiggin puis le départ de djish d'Ender vers de nouvelles colonies spatiales. Tout cela est très prenant, écrit de manière assez intelligente. Néanmoins, il n'y a pas de surprise, pas de suspense, pas de retournement de situation et cela est un peu dommage. Mais ne boudons pas note plaisir, les aventures d'Ender ou de ses amis nous font toujours passer un bon moment. ( )
