This ending left me speechless. Such a good ending to such a good series. I’m going to miss these characters. I have really grown attached to all of them. ( ) This was such a fantastic conclusion to the series. Often times, especially with so many threads, an author will focus on a ensuring that a few key lines are wrapped up nicely before concluding the story. Here, I don't think we could've asked for anything else (except, of course, MORE!). The tension of the Magical Summit was palpable as Kieran and Alexis navigated their way through politically-stormy waters. I was at the edge of my seat for every meeting, every battle, every potential misstep. While I had guessed at a few of the final connections, some of Breene's twists were a total surprise, making the last couple of chapters that much more enjoyable. This will definitely be a series that I revisit from time to time, and I hope that the parting lines mean we'll see more of some of these characters in the future. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

It's the moment Kieran and Lexi have been preparing for. The Magical Summit. Ready or not, they will take their assembled team into the belly of the beast. The stakes couldn't be higher. If the powers that be don't approve of Kieran, he will not earn the official title of the Demigod of San Francisco. The real danger concerns Lexi, however. With Kieran away in meetings, she must brave the treacherous halls of the Summit with just her crew and her wards, fighting for social placement and status, open to attack from all angles. She could've never expected what comes at her. No one could've. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
