In the book "Grimm's Fairy Tales" 55 classic stories are told by the Grimm brothers. All these tales were passed down through generations of families in Germany and were written down by the brothers. Since then, their collected stories now influence and are the heart of the fairy tales of today. These stories all have about one thing in common, they mostly tell of a poor man or woman that goes through tremendous challenges and then lives happily ever after. The Bremen Town Musicians tells of how a donkey, cat, dog, and rooster that were sentenced to death by their owners, because of their old age, went on a journey to Bremen to become musicians. Along the way, they come by a robbers' hid out and discover lots of good food and stolen valuables.Once the animals all sing to getter, they freak of the robbers and claim the place theirs. In Repunzul, a man steals lettus from a witches garden and gets cot. He promises to give the witch his baby girl and she names her Repunzul. She made her hair grow long enough so that she could climb in and out of the tower with no door. Then it so happens a prince finds the tower and becomes aquainted with her and tries to help her escape. The witch foiled his plan by blinding him with pricker bushes and cuts Repunzul's hair. A year later, the prince finds her in the forest and her tears reveils her sight. These are a few of the many stories the Grimm brothers collected.

Alot of these stories describe how horride or how brave people can be. In the 12 Dancing Princesses, an old soldier was willing to risk his life to have one of the princesses as his bride. In Mrs. Fox, Mr. Fox tries to find out if his wife is faithful, she turns out to be quit desprite for a new husband once Mr. Fox is dead. Many also remind you of life lessons and what rude and horride people diserve in the end. Personification is almost always used in these stories to show how similar animals can be to people in human behavior. An important and use full character is alot of these stories are the crows since the seem to know alot more then people. The main character usually listens to their ideas and solutions to solve their own problemes in the end. The book it self is a moral to all those who read it.
