Not to say it doesn’t have flaws, but there is a greater sense of narrative flow. There is also quite a bit of world building. The biggest flaw is Bad Guy. While the MC is well established, the Bad Guy is barely an outline. Even at the end, he is more a sum of what information has been shared than actual actions. Some his actions don’t really fit what little we know of his nature. His motivations are simply dumped out and not thoroughly explained. The romance part is actually a bit lacking.
