I was so happy to return to Dublin and the fun life of limo driver for hire, Megan Malone. The atmosphere and setting is great, and by involving a golf course, both famous and historic, is a great touch to add to the sense of place. Hired to drive around a famous golfer while he attempts to qualify for a bigger contest, everyone is shocked when his fellow golfer is found in a water hazard. Developers and environmentalists all seem to a monetized stake in what goes on at the historic club and area, amazing it may all lead to murder. amateur-sleuth, cozy-mystery, law-enforcement, Ireland, murder, pro-golf, verbal-humor****** Excellent mystery! Fun with scary parts and a detective who knows how to wear his clothes. Megan is an expat American happy to be working for a limo service in Ireland since retiring as a medic in the US army for twenty years. Thing is, she seems to find bodies of murder victims and her employer is that put out about it. Very complicated plot full of twists, red herrings, puppies, giggles about word usage of the same language in two different countries, and bereaved women uncovering secrets. Like I said, excellent! I requested and received a free ebook copy from Kensington Books via NetGalley. Thank you! aucune critique | ajouter une critique

It was a fun read, particularly with the wealthy Carmen de Fuentes' demands. ( )
