Earth is dying- its resources are almost used up, its population decimated by plagues. Countless wrong decisions have been made. A new planet must be found for the Human race. Probes are sent to search for just such a planet. Several are found that would support a portion of the Earth's remaining population. Humanity will survive but it will be spread across fifty light-years. Then another planet is discovered. Abundant in resources with clean air and land- one planet for all Humanity. Project Arcturus is born- colonization is to start immediately. The only problem is that Arcturus is already populated. On Arcturus, all is peaceful. Its inhabitants busy themselves with hunting and farming. And spending time with their Father who walks among them. Arcturus' Post-Iron Age population knows nothing of space travel until they learn that they have brothers from a far-off world arriving. These two civilizations worlds have made completely different choices. Now they are on a collision course.
