However, the illustrations are nicely done and the fill-in-blanks information after the actual "story" could be helpful for future readings of the original (or for understanding D.W.'s hilarious "folk tale" version on the TV show "Arthur") ( ) The book is called the Odyssey Homer and His journey to get back home to his family. It starts off explaining about the how the Greeks and the troy go into war and then it goes on talking about how homer was given the idea of making the Trojan horse by Athena. The journey home for Odysseus was very long because of the stop they made and also because Zeus makes the storm terrible for them to sail in. when he get home he realize that all this terrible things are happening in home and vows revenge on the people that did his family wrong during his absents. I like this book its very colorful and the students can actual understand what’s going on. I like that is short because I read the original version and school and took us a while to finish. One thing that I would do before we read this book is to go over Greek mythology with the class and then my extension will be to ask the class to create their own Greek God’s and they have to have a name, power, and who would they protect. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
