Amelia Bedelia’s school, Oak Tree Elementary is turning 100 years old! Her classmates are so excited and so is Amelia Bedelia. The whole town is having a huge party to celebrate and best of all they discover a time capsule from when the school was first built. The children have a great time trying to guess what is in the time capsule. Fans of the Amelia Bedelia series will love this new chapter book series which is similar to the Ivy and Clementine series. I would recommend this for any collection owning other classic Amelia Bedelia books. There are also sections with a two ways to say it. We know that children can be very literal and it gives both the literal as well as the figurative definition of the words. ( )
