Her father left 5 years ago and she's still trying to understand what happened. She devours romance novels, but has no interest or trust in real romance. Then Brett Wells, high school god, impulsively kisses her when her former best friend is giving her a hard time in the hallway at school. Little do either of them know how that will lead to a fake romance, Brett's parents having a crisis, and numerous emotional upheavals between the two. Read the book to experience a great story with both romance and wisdom born from personal pain. ( ) About the Book: Becca and Brett are two high school students who decide to start a “fake” relationship in order to please the people around them and to seem normal to their peers. Throughout the book you get to see the different obstacles they face and how they deal with them together. Will they make it though as friends? Are they going to be more? Are they more similar than they thought? Review: I LOVED this book, I literally couldn’t put the book down and read it all in one sitting. Something I enjoy in books is when there are two different perspectives so that was nice to see. Overall a very cute love story :) I found this to be a super fun read. I always love books that tackle both fake dating as troupe but also have both lead characters POV. I also liked how this book dealt with harder topics like divorce and the family drama. I also really liked being in becca head and seeing her as book lover. I love that this book also focused so much on their friendship and a fun cast of side characters. I would def read more by this author in the future. I found this to be a super fun read. I always love books that tackle both fake dating as troupe but also have both lead characters POV. HTML: A fun, flirty teen debut from Wattpad phenom Alex Light about a fake relationship and real love. Perfect for Jenny Han fans. It's been years since seventeen-year-old Becca Hart believed in true love. But when her former best friend teases her for not having had a boyfriend, Becca impulsively pretends she's been secretly seeing someone. Brett Wells has it all. As captain of the football team and one of the most popular guys in his school, he should have no problem finding someone to date, but he's always been more focused on his future than who to bring to prom. When he overhears Becca's lie, Brett decides to step in and be the mystery guy. It's the perfect solution: he gets people off his back for not having a meaningful relationship and she can keep up the ruse that she's got a boyfriend. Acting like the perfect couple isn't easy, though, especially when you barely know the other person. But with Becca still picking up the pieces from when her world was blown apart years ago and Brett just barely holding his together now, they begin to realize they have more in common than they ever could have imagined. When the line between what is pretend and what is real begins to blur, they're forced to answer the question: Is this fake romance the realest thing in either of their lives? .Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
