The story is mostly about how he negotiated Pixar, Lukas and Marvel - growing Disney, not so much about leadership and facilitating an organization. A lot of random (?) people pops up. The best parts are those with Steve Jobs. I think that sealing the deal with Pixar gave him the insights from Jobs (not from the Bob himself) and courage to go with Lukas and Marvel aswell. So if you want a book about leadership, don’t read this one - instead read Your five next moves or Petter Stordalens My secret It’s good fun. Lots of curated stories of a business leader who had a long and exciting career. Yes, I ignored all the advice and lessons. I was more interested in how an outsider of Hollywood managed the biggest media company of the world, made so much of big acquisitions and changed the perception. I got enough bang for my buck. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
Distinctions
