This indispensable manual presents the leading empirically supported treatment approach for adolescents with anorexia nervosa (AN). This is the manual for the Maudsley Approach, also called Family Based Treatment. Written for clinicians it is also a very good reference for parents. Parents looking for this approach in a book written for parents can read Help Your Teenager Beat An Eating Disorder. This book changed eating disorder treatment and continues to lead the field in evidence-based treatment and research. ( )
