Kahlil Gibran, famous, in a sub-rosa sort of way, for coining the proto-statement from which "Ask not what your country can do for you, etc.", that Kennedy is so often attributed, wrote down a collection of spiritual (though not inherently religious) statements that, I dare to argue, could be enjoyed by all people, regardless of religious preferences (unless you're entirely anti-dualist that even the word "spirit" makes you unruly. In that case, stay away from many bars that serve hard alcohol).
Definitely a treat for fans of Kahlil Gibran. And for those who have never heard of him? Well, this book is a good starting point, as is The Prophet. ( )
