MalloryMy professional life has taken off. Now if I could get a personal one, that would be great. He is so amazing. Good looking, smart, and everything I ever wanted. Why won't he let me love him?MalachiComing home from a life of service is hard. It's even harder when you're injured. Why did she have to be so beautiful? She is everything I never knew I wanted. Letting her love me was the easy part. Don't let the title fool you, this book is full of all the MK Moore yumminess that you can handle. As always, you can expect a safe and steamy happily ever after. After all, 425 Madison Ave is the perfect place to fall in love! Each story is completely standalone, but you'll want to read them all. Trust me. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |

SO not what I thought it was going to be and while yes, overall, after I've had time to sit back and digest everything, the story itself isn't bad. The premise of a female writer writing what she doesn't know until shades of gray are removed to a world saturated with color, a wounded soldier (in more ways than one) finding love again (of both himself and another), friendships put to the test, and eventually, the chance for everyone in some fashion to show that despite the odds others stacked against them, they made their lives their own. Here's my catch or rather catches...
First, too much of a "good thing" can be too much....which is probably what landed that "erotic" add on to the genre it resides in because yeah, once they get started...they don't plan on stopping. Second, the language...I don't really care to read a character's inner (or outer, for that matter) monologue that is constantly foul mouthed. Last, and probably least...honestly, I didn't believe the connection between the lead characters, or at least how rapidly it happened. So while it wasn't my all time favorite, it doesn't mean it won't be yours!
