I loved the Jolly Postman book and this book is by the same artists. It is a very good introduction for children into how a story is written and chapters.It shows each part and is wonderfully illustrated.

There are five short stories about young Bert, all focusing on his daft personality. Kids will love the silly problems he gets into, and there are interactive parts, such as when we to try to turn the page quietly enough to keep the baby asleep. Expressive colored pencil illustrations add to the humor.

This book is about a young boy who goes on interesting adventures. It is a great interactive book. It can also be used to make predictions. The book takes the reader on a journey with Bert by first meeting him, then Bert gets a new shirt, travels to Scotland, and finds a puppy. I think this book would be great to use with young readers.
