A review on Goodreads said this book did not have much of a point. I found myself agreeing with them. That doesn't mean I didn't like it--I liked it a lot! But if you are looking for a lesson, a moral, anything...you won't find one.

Mismatched neighbors Duck and Bear have very different reactions to the snow that has fallen. And as you might imagine, it doesn't bode well when one of them gets sick!

I have had great success with this book. But that's because I do character voices. I have turned Duck into a combo of Daffy Duck and Woody Woodpecker. I feel like I spit all over the place but the kids are in stitches. So my desires have been achieved!

Those mismatched neighbors Bear and Duck return in this, their fourth hilarious picture-book adventure together. When Duck wakes up one day and sees that it has snowed, he immediately sets out to inveigle Bear into the great outdoors, despite the oft-repeated objections of his ursine friend. When Bear gets a cold, Duck next sets out to take care of him, once again despite his objections. But when Duck himself gets sick, he has lots of demands, and no objections to any care...

Having seen the previous three entries in this series from author/artist team Jory John and Benji Davies - Goodnight, Already!, I Love you, Already! and Come Home, Already! - all become hits at story-time, I went into All Right Already: A Snowy Story! with high expectations, expectations that were more than met! The story here is as hilarious as ever, with the back-and-forth dialogue between eager Duck and unenthusiastic Bear reducing me to giggling, while the colorful artwork is every bit as appealing as in previous tales. Recommended to anyone who enjoyed the other books about Bear and Duck, and to anyone who likes humorous picture-books with odd-couple pairs. ( )
