Boy was I surprised when I received this book! It was so more than I was anticipating. I was expecting a smaller book (and there’s nothing wrong with that) but this one is 8” x 10”! This storybook is for snugging in a chair with your little one in your lap and your arms around them as you hold the book. Love it!
The stories are literally short enough to be read in 5 minutes; minus my sound effects of course! With each page having just a few lines, it is just right for young attention spans. It is my opinion with the large bright colored pages your little one will want to linger over the pages after you finish reading. This part impressed me. Every of page is filled with vivid colors of their favorite Veggie Tales characters and scenes depicting the story.
Just as with the Veggie Tales videos, each story is humorous, fun and always shares a special message about biblical truths especially for children. These zany vegetables have become a beloved tradition among Christian parents and children. A quality book not on in construction and materials but also in content. I cannot wait to share it with my grandson and even in my Sunday school class.

My boys always loved Veggie Tales, so now I was excited to share values we hold dear with my nieces.
You know you’re doing something right when you can see the attention in their eyes and your hearing precious giggles coming from them.
These are sweet and hilarious stories that take about five minutes each, of course with the littles it always takes a few more, but so worth it. In fact, we usually don’t stop at one.
A real treasure for their collection!

These stories are fantastic. I love all the puns throughout the stories. Adults will get a kick out of these books along with children. These tales are very funny and teach lessons. This is the first Veggie Tale Book I have read but it won’t be the last. I received a copy of this book from Worthykids for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will. ( )

There are plenty of laughs (or parental snickers) along with a message highlighting God’s truth. For instance, The Good, The Bad, And The Silly teaches about good choices as the veggie cowpokes take on a cattle drive. And The Halfhearted Viking shows the virtue of doing your best as the Vikings vacation at a resort where things are only half done.

Fun for the whole family, Very Veggie 5-Minute Stories will become a new favorite for quick story time. But don’t be surprised when you hear just one more!
