What in the hell?!? I don’t even know if I want to buy the last book. Want to keep the story fresh? Change everything, apparently. This is just getting ridiculous, and I’m super over it now. Characters are just being left behind. This whole introduction of new characters and the memory stuff pisses me off a lot. My only hope is the character chemistry of the main three and that there was more Kenji. ( )

**spoiler alert** Sorry, I know this one was not as objectively cringe as the others but I stopped attempting to take this book seriously at the damn plane crash scene. Are you kidding me? Someone shot a missile at the plane and you just lost an engine? And then they shot another missile and you just lost another engine? This is so unrealistic that it kills me inside. Suspension of disbelief, yeah yeah, but this plane should’ve been torn to shreds and ejected every person inside it. Maybe there are magic projectiles that only disable engines in the Shatter Me universe. I don’t know. But as a fanatic aviation disaster cringe loser nerd, I could not take that seriously. And, upon losing power to both engines, Juliette said they needed to jump off and everyone just AGREED??? Why not wait until it’s approaching a lower altitude than EIGHT THOUSAND FEET. Holy shit. Like, you can glide these things to a lower level.

Anyways, I’ll be starting the last book tomorrow. Hopefully it won’t have any more mentions of planes so that I can give it a fair 3 stars. ( )

And.....things get stranger.....

Although I know this was a necessary part of the journey through this series I found this book hard to read. ( )

Not going to lie, Nazeera sounds hot as hell. 10/10 would try to hook up with her. ( )
