Plot Summary: Princess Pulverizer is on a quest to do 8 deeds of kindness to prove to her father she should be a knight rather than a princess. She's focused and ready for the next challenge, dragging her friends along with her. It comes soon enough -- the town is missing all of their goats and cows, leaving them with absolutely no dairy products, much to the dissatisfaction of Princess Pulverizer and her cheese-loving friends. They promise they will get the herds back to the people, but can they beat the giant ogre?
Setting: time of knights and princesses (but fantasy)
Characters:
Dribble - dragon
Lucas - boy who seems to be a scaredy cat
Princess Pulverizer - brave, can be selfish, the leader
Recurring Themes: knights, princess, acts of kindness, humor, friendship, selfishness
Controversial Issues: none
Personal Thoughts: exciting and funny, despite the time period the language and word choice are common to today, great example of a book featuring a strong girl that boys may like. I only read book #3 and it made sense. There was some recap of what happened so far.
Genre: historical fantasy
Pacing: medium
Characters: I personally confused which traits went with the boy and which went with the dragon, but it didn't really matter
