Genre: Fantasy Grade level: K-first grade Tags: Phoebe, Unicorn, ratings : 5/5 stars Review: Today I’ll be a Unicorn follows the story of a young girl named Phoebe and her unicorn. Throughout the story, Phoebe explores the world of being a unicorn and comes to find out that it is appealing and ehanting. Throughout the book, the illustrator provides various pictures that make the text and the idea of becoming a unicorn even more appealing. Towards the end of the story, Phoebe comes to the conclusion that although it is great to be a unicorn, it is also great to be yourself because you are just as unique. After reviewing this book, I have decided to give it 5/5 stars. I gave this book 5/5 stars because of how cute the message was and I feel like it would grab the attention of young readers. Also, although this novel is only six pages, the author includes many imagination prompting illustrations that also grasp the attention of young readers. After reading this book, I believe the best audience to read this book would be readers in kindergarten through first grade. My daughter loves all things unicorn right now and this book did not disappoint. It is quite short but she laughed at the end and asked for me to read it again. The colours are vibrant and the illustrations well done. It's too bad that it wasn't a little bit longer but my daughter was happy with it. HTML: In this charming, super-sparkly board book, the stars of Phoebe and Her Unicorn celebrate the magical and enchanting world of being a unicorn, along with reminding young readers that being yourself is pretty great, too.Who wouldn't want to be a unicorn? You get to trot majestically through meadows, perch high up on rainbows, and wear tiaras made of starlight. Phoebe lists all the wonderful things she'll get to do and can hardly contain her excitement about having a tail and magic horn. That is, until she learns that unicorns like to eat hay instead of pizza. Maybe she'll be a unicorn tomorrow instead! .Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
