His statement is illustrated with drawings and photographs of conventional symbols to aid the reader in appreciating the truth of the deductions made. The important point of this work is the method of marshaling the facts collected and arranging the cumulative proof of the conclusions the author's studies have led him. It is a humble contribution toward showing the continuity of religious evolution by linking up the old religions with Christianity.
