A really beautiful children’s book that little me would have been obsessed with! I love all the small details in here: the drawings on the bedroom wall, the clothing of the fairies, and the textures of the natural woods.🍃🍄🌸 ( ) My son and daughter both love this book. The fairies are smattered all over the pages, slightly hidden, which makes it super fun for my 3 year old to find them! We like to point out the flowers and mushrooms too. Both of my children loved this book, it was mythical and magical and fun and the illustrations are so amazing! It's a book that I also enjoy reading on my own. It's such a lovely escape for children, with no big lessons or hidden messages, other than slowing down and really looking around you at the lovely things nature has to offer. And we all love that. :) This book reminded me a lot of a movie called The Bridge to Terabithia. In the book the main character is a little girl who goes out into the woods by her home in search of magical creatures. This sounded familiar to me because in the movie there are two children that go out into the woods in search of magical creatures as well. It kind of makes a person think about the possibility of wonderful things hidding out in the world. A child's imagination is so powerful and the book does a good job of setting suspicion into its readers. You see the fairies hidding in the bushes and in the trees, you see trolls disguised as rocks, and little creatures blending in with the leaves. This book really opens up a person's imagination and after reading it you feel as if you won't see the world the same way for a while. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

A girl searches for fairies in her backyard and the woods beyond, following little clues and traces of magic. Fairies and other magical creatures can be found on every page, hidden among the flowers, trees and pebbles. But although readers can see them, the girl keeps searching, just one step behind. In the end, it is clear (both to the girl and readers) that there is magic all around, even when it's hidden in plain sight. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
