MARRIAGE WANTED
As far as Nash Davenport's concerned, marriage isn't shelter from the stormâ??it is the storm. He's a divorce attorney, himself divorced, who believes no married couple can live up to their wedding vows. Savannah Charles, however, believes in the valueâ??and the valuesâ??of marriage. She's a wedding planner who finds herself saying yes when Nash unexpectedly proposes. Even though it's strictly a business proposal...

This is my first exposure to Debbie Macomber. A friend loaned me her copy and I found the concept of coupling two novels or novellas with the same themes as in "Looking for a Hero" under one cover an interesting one.

"My Hero" and "Marriage Wanted" involve 2 independent women each looking for heroes and love while dealing with their own inner turmoil or demons from their pasts. The introductions, disintegration, and final reintegration of the characters and their stories pulled me through the pages of both these novels. ( )
