I had to stop listening for a while, and take a break. Has ALL the feels. The tower is a weird and not so wonderful place. I also thought this was the last book in the series, nope. *sigh*. I want (need) to know how this hot mess all ends 😛 PS. Listening to this is like watching a movie in your head, the writing is excellent, very descriptive without slowing down the story. As with the previous entries in the series, the prose is brilliant, as is the world ... even though we're just in Pelphia for the book. The characters are still great, but more progress or conflict would have been nice. And i cant help but feel that the cliffhanger in the second arc didn't really pay off, mostly because it was too tidy in the end. Overall, this is more of a 3.5 for me, but it's still great and recommended. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

One thing I think would have been better though was to have interspersed the Senlin chapters with the Edith chapters. Knowing the climax of the Senlin portion of the story made the Edith chapters a bit dull at times. ( )
