I am Justice is a new series by a new to me author, Diana Munoz Stewart. There were some great things about the book. First, I loved that its a group of vigilante sisters. These ladies are badass. Any book that features women who are just as deadly as men is a plus in my book! I also thought the focus on stopping human trafficking was brilliant. This is a very real issue in today's world. Finally, the diversity in the book was much appreciated. I loved getting to read about characters from different ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. The action was on point, but the book felt lacking somehow. Justice felt robotic at times and I had a hard time connecting with her. I couldn't really believe the romance either because she seemed so mechanical. Despite my struggles with Justice, I think the series has potential. I will probably keep reading to see where Stewart takes these characters! Link live on blog on 5/30 Cette critique a été écrite dans le cadre des Critiques en avant-première de LibraryThing. This is a very familiar story good versus evil... of course this is a story that's told over and over with the different characters I apologize that I did not like this sooner have been very busy thought I had to done this weeks ago... It is an adopted Sisterhood of vigilante assassins that runs covert OPS to rid the world of evil men. She a no nonsense bad-ass. Sandesh Ross is a former Special Forces warrior who left to found a humanitarian group to aid war-torn countries. The story is very similar to most covert black ops books with one special twist. It’s told from a woman’s perspective and presents an almost completely female cast that covers everything from publicity to deep cover assassinations. I really enjoyed this story. It had a more romantic twist than most covert stories, but plenty of heart-pounding action. The characters were deeply described and very intriguing to learn about. Two thumbs up here. The label suggest a action book along with the review and I quote " High-Octane and sexy, this book is a must read!". I myself found the book as about as boring as a Cross stitch manual. There was very little action let alone High-Octane. If you want High-Octane then read J. Robert Kennedy's books or Alex Kava. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

Justice was staved from the streets when she was a young girl and joined a secret vigilante assassins of only woman. Sandesh used to be in the Special Forces but left to become a humanitarian. Justice’s group uses and takes advantage of Sandesh’s group. He gets angry, she doesn’t care and then I lost interest. ( )
