Agatha encounters a whole new collection of Sparks (and others), keeping a library of...it turns out, considerably dangerous stuff, some of it in books and some more solid. The ongoing confusion between Aldin, Larana, and Hoffman is quite amusing, too. And yet another unstoppable threat is unleashed...Grandma will be thrilled! Stuff happens. I found the artwork tended more monochromatic that I enjoy, red tones in Mechanicsburg undergaround and blues in Pairs underground until the Library, which had some interesting backdrops. Also I liked Füst and wanted more of him, but really can you expect an artist to fit a giant brown bear into more than a few frames? All the different figures in brass bikinis are, um, interesting!?! aucune critique | ajouter une critique
In a time when the Industrial Revolution has become an all-out war, Mad Science rules the World with mixed success. Agatha is the last of the Heterodynes -- a notorious family of Mad Scientists hat everyone had thought safely wiped out. In this new chapter of her story, we find the ancestral castle of the Heterodynes trapped in a bubble of stopped time, and Agatha on a journey to find a way to reverse the effect and save the people she loves. At the Paris Institute of the Extraordinary, the World's foremost expert on time manipulation has disappeared and all clues suggest that he is somewhere in the vast autonomous library beneath the City. Unfortunately, the library has closed its doors to outsiders, and Agatha and her friends must find a way to sneak in, aided by an adventurous university student who really needs to finish one last extra credit assignment.
