That it is okay to ask questions. It is a book that saying being a person who colors outside the lines is good. This book is an encouraging boost to remember to be yourself. ( )

Dear girl is a story to learn how to accept yourself. It shows kids that they should accept themselves for who they are. Each page has a little inspiration and that is why at the end of the book, it says if you ever need some encouragement, just turn to this book. I also like how it adds after that to just turn "to me". Therefore I think that the author may have wrote this book for her daughter. It sometimes makes you wonder where an author gets their inspiration from and I believe that she wrote this as a letter to a girl that she loves, maybe her daughter. ( )
