( ) Dear Girl by Amy Krouse Rosenthal teaches self-confidence and acceptance through words of encouragement on each page. This book focuses on girl’s self esteem. The audience can flip to any page and receive an affirmation, it is a story to teach girls to accept themselves for who they are. The book gives girls inspiration and lets girls know that it is okay to be different and it is okay to be yourself even if you do stand out. Dear Girl is a book that reminds girls that they are special. It is full of words of love and acceptance. It tells a girl it is okay to be exactly how you are feeling at the moment. That it is okay to ask questions. It is a book that saying being a person who colors outside the lines is good. This book is an encouraging boost to remember to be yourself. Dear girl is a story to learn how to accept yourself. It shows kids that they should accept themselves for who they are. Each page has a little inspiration and that is why at the end of the book, it says if you ever need some encouragement, just turn to this book. I also like how it adds after that to just turn "to me". Therefore I think that the author may have wrote this book for her daughter. It sometimes makes you wonder where an author gets their inspiration from and I believe that she wrote this as a letter to a girl that she loves, maybe her daughter. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
