![]() Aucun Actuellement, il n'y a pas de discussions au sujet de ce livre. ![]() ![]() The plot got me hooked right from the beginning and, as it progressed, it got a bit repetitive before ending on predictable lines. What stood out for me was the way the author has wrung out a lot of emotions from the two lead characters. Though none of the characters is likeable, except for the police detectives maybe, the reader gets emotionally invested. This one is an engaging read, more due to the author's vivid descriptions of emotions than the actual story. This book was fast paced and intense. You will be hooked from the first page, and you will not be able to put this book down. It is an intense story about how dangerous secrets can be... and how easily mistakes are made. The emotions inside this book will rip you in two, and you will not be able to stop yourself from finding the truth... no matter what the cost may be. Gregg Olsen is taking not prisoners with this novel... and he is a master at creating terrifying moments. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
"The community along Oregon's Deschutes River is one of successful careers and perfect families. For years, Liz and Owen have admired their good friends and neighbors, Carole and David, who appear to have it all--security, happiness, and a beautiful young son, Charlie. Then Charlie vanishes without a trace, and all that seemed safe is shattered"-- Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
