The year is 1986, and our main character is a gentleman by the name of Wendell Muggeridge, who is about to retire from his science teaching job after a 36 year career. He lives in a very old and very large manor in the fictitious town of Wautowma, Wisconsin. As he ruminates about his life and career, many vivid memories consume him (particularly the time he spent at the Battle of Corregidor, and a few years later with an extremely beautiful colleague by the name of Sheila Denton). With just a few months to go, things do not go smoothly for Wendell at his school site, and he is forced to endure a number of very painful challenges; including a very serious arrest and potential prosecution. The narrative is comedic, painfully dramatic and sensually romantic as well. Many surprises await, and should catch the reader quite off guard. [The Usual Bohemian is a retired public school teacher and Aspie who has been writing for many years. His works include: "The House of Bildeburg;" "Pure Iron Metal Head, Hideous Praxis;" "Traipsing to Auschwitz;" and many others.]"Aids Orphans Remembered"… (plus d'informations)
