Not bad however I don't remember much about Watchmen (read it 8-9 years ago) so I think I may have to read that graphic novel again. I like how they are branching and adding other DC characters though.

I was told by the comic shop employee that the series is late when releasing titles so I may hold off on reading this until it is complete. ( )

This is phenomenal

I mean, I loved Watchmen and I sure as hell adore anything related to Batman. So this combination between my favorite DC heroes made me a squealing mess.

And I didn't just love it because it has the Watchmen AND Superman and Batman. I loved it because it's so well done!
The story follows the end of Watchmen perfectly, the outcome of what happened at the end and the consequences of the decisions made then make perfect sense.
I also love the art because it sticks to Watchmen's style; beautiful, sharp, well detailed and brutal at the same time.

I can't wait to read the next ones, when Batman finally joins the story! ( )

Man, it was hard to get into this one because it was so short. It ended before it really got started. I suppose that's how it goes when you read the series one release at a time. Definitely starts right away and leaves you with a lot of questions. Looking forward to see what happens next. ( )
