An outstanding quality spy story from a great author right up there with the absolute master John Le Carre , and in Herbie Kruger a superb character to rival Smiley Absorbing clever with a mix of fictional characters fitted in and around real characters and events. Atmospheric descriptive imaginative a total page turner. ( )
