Good story. As usual the Batman is awesome! It was a little stereotypical with the woman vs men subplot. It seems that most of the Wonder Woman stories are Greek myth themed as is this one. I'd like to read one where Wonder Woman is the star without any Gods or magic. ( )

Incredibly dry reading. Desperately uninteresting plot. Way too much casual talk about rape. This book is kind of an atrocity. ( )

Definitely the weakest of the JLA series. The obvious strengths in Wonder Woman's background, being a character steeped in mythological traditions and the diplomacy from her position are handled awkwardly by Lay. The original characters often seem more solid than the established larger than life personalities of the heroes. If you want to get into Wonder Woman this is better than the horrible Amazons Attack, but if you really want to experience a good "mythos" you'd be better off finding old Perez issues. ( )
