This seemed like a story I would like; however I could not finish it. I could not connect to the main character Anne (whose name I just struggled to remember!), and the other characters felt stilted. I could not focus past a few sentences, and often would have to go back and reread what was there. I would not discourage anyone from reading the story, it just did not grab my attention. Maybe I will again later! UPDATE: I did take up this book again. The next few chapters were decent and I thought - oh hey I might actually like this - and no. Once the mother comes back I could not even force myself to read on. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

Their daughter, Anna, is struggling to come to terms with her parents' deaths, unwilling to accept the verdict of suicide. Now with a baby herself, Anna feels her mother's absence keenly and is determined to find out what really happened to her parents. But as she digs up the past, someone is trying to stop her.
