I enjoyed this collection of excerpts from various crime writings of New York. One could argue that the story about Jeeves might not belong, but it provides a little comic relief, so I find nothing wrong. If you want to read about some of the less famous (but not less interesting) crimes that have occurred in New York, I would recommend this. ( )
It's a collection of stories from writers living in the early part of the 1900's. Gives a feel for the time periods and what invidivuals thought about the crimes and criminals of New York. ( )
