Most of the book is written alternately balancing the whirlwind love-into-marriage with the post TBI present as time moves along. The character of Sean is spot on for a military victim of TBI, and Jenna demonstrates the positive aspects of someone in love with a person who doesn't know how to cope with the devastating changes that have occurred in life. All of the characters are engaging and intriguing, and the plot is well crafted.
