She reminds me of myself, always on the move and never taking time for myself... sadly. Throughout the book, she learns a lesson; that she needs to slow down and take it easy. The author uses alliteration and rhyming which helps add to Lizzie's chaos. This could serve as a good example for students to use when incorporating these literary elements into their writing. Bizzy Mizz Lizzie tells the story of the busiest little bee. Lizzie is so busy trying to be the best bee she can be in order to meet the queen, that she forgets to be a bee! After she falls asleep during her turn in a spelling contest, she decides to take a break and rest in the garden with her friend. While there, she meets the queen who says she is too busy being lazy. Lizzie learns to "stop and smell the flowers, which is exactly what bees are supposed to do anyway." This is such a cute book that teaches kids to worry less! Loved it! aucune critique | ajouter une critique
