An odd tale of servants waiting for something to happen and making plans for their subsequent lives. What makes it so odd is the way they speak about the expected events as though they had already happened, and I was kept wondering exactly how they expected to get away with it.

I could tell from the description of this story that I would not like it, and I gave up after reading about 20% of it.
