This volume was a little hard to follow with the jumping around in the storyline but still enjoyable. The amount of detail that goes into the backgrounds is amazing! ( )

There are still funny moments in Sex Criminals, but lately they seemed to tamed the book down with the humor and with this comic book it doesn't really work. I like the fact there is a story going on, but not much happens in this volume. I think one of the highlights is the parody with Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips' comic book Criminal. Never in my life I'd think someone would parody their work, especially that comic book, but well done. This volume let me wanting to know what happens next, but I hope there's more humor and action.

I also found the fake interview at the end hilarious. ( )

Three was hard -- no pun intended -- to get through. Fourgy does a better job at making you care about the characters and what they're going through. Overall, the writing seems tighter. ( )

While a little more depressing and not as strong as the first three volumes, I still loved this. It's been a while since I read Sex Criminals, but I immediately got right back into it. It sucks you in! The characters, the great writing, the bizarre plot, and beautiful illustrations are just the tip of the iceberg. It's so witty and raunchy! This volume deals with Suzie and Jon trying to come to terms with their new romance and their brush with the law. Will what they have last? It's more than sex right? I can't wait for the fifth volume! ( )

Not as funny, outrageous or sexy as previous entries, this entry just moves some plot points along to set up stuff for the next couple volumes I guess. ( )
