Kate and Alex are enjoying a dream wedding at Parkview Hall when an uninvited guest turns up dead on the premises. Kate is aghast to learn that her mother Ava had a relationship with the young man, having met him for coffee several times in Los Angeles to discuss her latest enthusiasm, genealogy; she is even more upset when her father’s shoe size happens to match that of an imprint left on the ground by the corpse. She will have to use all of her skills to find other suspects and to clear her family’s name, when all she really wants to do is go to Venice on her honeymoon with Alex…. This is the seventh and, to date, last of the Murder On Location series; in her afterward, Ms. Rosett notes that the series would be on hiatus while she explored other work. As with the other books in the series, there is nothing earth-shattering here, just a nice little cozy that features beautiful landscapes, entertaining characters and a mystery that doesn’t tie the reader up in knots while trying to solve it. Once again, mildly recommended. ( ) aucune critique | ajouter une critique

Wedding bells are ringing in the English village of Nether Woodsmoor for location scouts Kate and Alex. They are tying the knot at one of England's most elegant manor homes, but when a wedding guest is murdered and suspicion falls on those closest to Kate, she and Alex must put their plans for a life happily ever after on hold. If they can't figure out who sabotaged their big day, their honeymoon may be over before it begins. Death at an English Wedding is the seventh installment in the popular Murder on Location series from USA Today bestselling author Sara Rosett, which features an English village, quirky characters, along with dashes of humor and romance.
