The books had a really cool main character, awesome world building, and an intricate elemental/rune/monster system. Loved all of the different pieces, especially how the MC has an LGBT sexuality and the author makes him so much more than just his sexuality- no token LGBT characters here and the representation felt amazing.

3 stars because the pacing wasn’t for me, doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be a fantastic read for you! ( )

The beginning started off great, then I got bored of the story ( )

A beautifully written story. The adventure and magic are mixed and don’t over power each other, at all.

I found that I liked going on the adventure with Tenn and the others.

I’m really looking forward to (with fingers crossed) book two’s release date. ( )
