Just not a favorite-very unbelievable in the banking world. ( )

While this is not one of Brad Meltzer's better books I did find it an enjoyable adventure. In one respect it was a very forward concept upon which to base the story unfortunately felt the primary characters were bland with little depth and throughout the story none of the characterizations really grabbed me. The story concept and line were interesting and as always the writing was good. Overall while not a bad book the bland superficial characters ended up taking a potentially interesting idea leaving the concept without anything to support it and whence easy to loose it in bland mundane environment.

Unless you are a Brad Meltzer fan (and I am) would suggest you read other of his work and not consider typical of his writings. ( )

This book is a mystery in itself. I enjoyed reading it as much as any book I can remember but the story itself is shot through with credibility leaps and plot problems. I realized them as I was reading but was still totally sucked in and enjoyed every word. Two brothers kind of steal millions and kind of get into more of a mess than they could ever imagine. ( )

I listened the audio book and the story had me hanging on every word waiting to see how Oliver and Charlie would get out of the scary situation they found themselves in. I had a guess as to who the real theives were but was surprised at how they pulled it off. ( )

I know where I'm going. And I know who I want to be. That's why I took this job in the first place . . . and why, four years later, I still put up with the clients. And their demands. And their wads of money. Most of the time, they just want to keep a low profile, which is actually the bank's specialty. Other times, they want a little . . . personal touch. My phone rings and I tee up the charm. "This is Oliver," I answer. "How can I help you?"
