This book teaches children what real acts of kindness are. One night the children go out for ice cream and someone pays it forward. The car in front of them bought their ice cream. Which sparks a light in Cade the little boy. He then goes to school wanting to show acts of kindness. Playing with a little girl that usually has no one to play with her. Then he comes home and his dad bagged some toys that his sister or him do not play with anymore. When he sees one of his favorite toys he doesn't like that. In the end he realizes he does want to give it away because their is someone else out there that could use it more.
