I will have to! Enjoyed this short audio book based on a talk of hers. ( ) Another of Brene' Brown's amazing books. She again explores the human condition through her own personal experience and data from her research concerning the effects of shame and vulnerability in our lives. She is committed to her faith, her family and leading an authentic life. Her humor and honesty is compelling in urging her listeners to dig deep, face our fears and embrace their life in a way that is not afraid to feel. This is not a book but a recording of a three-hour talk given by Brown on how to practice her rising strong techniques and link them to your own personal spirituality. This was the right listen at the right time for me. There were so many useful techniques here that I could put into practice right away, and I feel that they are literally changing my life for the better. I immediately bought the book-book, Rising Strong, to read next. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

HTML: Spirituality—How It Makes Us Stronger A sense of belonging—how spirituality encourages us to be ourselves instead of trying to change in order to fit in Why the sense of perspective provided by a spiritual practice helps us find meaning and purpose "Are we doing the best we can?"—How faith in humanity can help us become more compassionate and less judgmental Why the spiritual understanding of death and rebirth are invaluable in the process of forgiveness On Rising Strong as a Spiritual Practice, Brené defines spirituality as something not reliant on religion, theology, or dogma—rather, it is a belief in our interconnectedness and in a loving force greater than ourselves. Whether you access the sacred through traditional worship, solitary meditation, communion with nature, or creative pursuits, one thing is clear: cultivating your own approach to spirituality gives you an irreplaceable resource to help you persevere through hard times and arise stronger and wiser than before. .
