Agatha is planning her wedding to Tedros (though wedding planning might be her least favorite activity after primping in front of a mirror). Tedros is trying to rebuild his bankrupt kingdom. Sophie is revamping the School of Evil in her image. However, someone is out there attacking both Ever and Never kingdoms alike and sabotaging the fourth years' quests. Agatha leads a quest to discover the truth and rescue her classmates but she discovers that truth and lies are not as clear cut as she thought. Will Sophie ever find true love? Will Tedros ever be crowned king of Camelot? And will Hort ever get over his crush on Sophie? The School for Good and Evil continues with its fourth book, “Quests for Glory”. Our two main characters, Agatha and Sophie, start their fourth and final year. This time they are trying to make their own fairy tail. It starts off with Agatha planning her wedding with Tedros, but when Tedros’ coronation goes horribly wrong, he starts to ignore Agatha and his duty. Meanwhile, Sophie becomes the Dean for the School for Evil. Hort becomes a teacher and The Coven search for a new School Master. Tedros’ best friend, Chaddick, gets killed by an unknown killer. Agatha enlists Sophie’s aid to solve this mystery while Tedros runs the kingdom. While Agatha, Sophie and the crew are off on this new adventure, an evil plot to take the kingdom from Tedros is already underway. They soon find out that a snake is trying to take over the throne and that would mean killing Tedros. By the time the crew gets back to the kingdom it is too late. The snake has locked up Tedros and will then capture Agatha, Sophie and the rest of the crew. This book ends with a cliffhanger. I gave this book five stars because of the creativity involved in the world the author created. It was extremely interesting with all the different plots and the imaginative storytelling. This book is written in the third person point of view. It kept me hooked and I almost couldn’t put it down! I can’t wait till the 5th installment comes out. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

I was disappointed by the lack of Hort and Nicola. The beginning of the book made them out to be quite significant, and maybe they will be, but they still feel like sidekicks. What would the story have been like told from their POV instead of Sophie, Agatha, and Tedros? ( )
