It is just so cute and quirky! It's all about extreme environments and the creatures that live in them. Though the book is consisted of facts, the author works a little joke or two into every page. This technique is sure to keep kids not only laughing, but interested. The illustrations also bring the book to life because the cute, almost messy, little cartoons are entertaining and relatable to kids. Great to use when discussing different climates and environments with students because the book has a section for just about all of the major ones. I sure hope this book will be a class favorite because it's definitely one of mine! aucune critique | ajouter une critique

If I could rate this book with six stars I would have to. This book is one of the most unique works of literature I have encountered. I loved how the illustrations were completed in different styles as some were in comic strip format or horizontal. The text was written in a format that was intended to be comical. The best aspect of this book is that all the information is relevant and true. The book even provides readers with an index and glossary. ( )
