Vraiment bien, un livre jeunesse qui se laisse bien lire. Pas forcément trop simpliste non plus. On retrouve le côté WTF des comics avec une amazone en cours d'acquisition de ses pouvoirs qui peut soulever des voitures, avoir seulement des bleus quand elle prend des balles, ce genre de choses. On apprécie aussi dès ce jeune âge, le sens de la justice de Diana qui cherche coûte que coûte à sauver l'innocente, quitte à y laisser sa propre innocence comme lorsqu'elles font leur pacte. J'ai trouvé très intéressant de voir comment la jeune Amazone en apprend plus tout au long du tome. Entre sa naïveté un peu première, son envie d'être une jeunne fille et sa responsabilité et ce qu'elle sait du monde des hommes. Après, elle n'avait jusque là que le prisme de ses soeurs mortes au combat et qui ont été bénies par les déesses poiur devenir des Amazones. Sa vision du monde était forcément tronquée, la découverte de la vérité, dans un cadre assez exceptionnel quand même (vu qu'Alia est pêtée de thune), est bien vue et bien montée je trouve. Que dire du twist à la fin, mis à part que je ne m'y attendais pas et que je l'ai vraiment apprécié ! Sans compter un certain nombre de révélations, même s'il n'y avait pas forcément celle concernant Diana (quelque chose à garder pour plus tard?)! Bref, une vraie bonne lecture, mon âme de fan a été très contente ! :) ( )
