Philosopher and physicist try to explain the implications of the long-distance entanglements exhibited in quantum physics and the Bohrian concept of complementarity. ("Contraria non contradictoria sed complementa sunt." -- Niels Bohr.) I worry when they don't have "entanglement" in their index and they don't mention decoherence anywhere at all. But what really seem woolly are the links to biology and philosophy. (Not that I would ever be unhappy with the conclusions that Cartesian dualism and philosophical postmodernism are contraindicated.) The authors say at the outset that they are not New Agers, but at the end they finally bum out the rationalist reader by calling for more dialog between science and religion. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
Classical physics states that physical reality is local, however, experiments conducted in 1977 suggest it is non-local. This work takes a revolutionary look at the implications of non-locality and its effects on our view of human consciousness. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
